Bags like clothes: a journey through space and time to recount the memory.

The drapery of the classic statuesque are sources of inspiration, filtered from the experience of artists as Madeleine Vionnet and Mariano Fortuny, to develop a personal idea of accessory; volumes, shapes and texture based on the concept of fluid movement. Some details of pleated clothes are isolated, repeated and calibrated to give life to bags from the organic volumes, where the concept of dynamism is exasperate.

The matter undergoes the same process: pleating become cuts that emphasize the three-dimensional look and attack the matter, so that light and shade can sculpt the surface.

Venice, place where this project was born, throws continuous impulses full of historical memory that leave a sediment in each detail. Arsenale, heart of Serenissima and engine of the conquest of the East, turns into Wunderkammer from whose draw inspiration for handles and details: ships ropes that turn into soft interlace of tassel for ergonomic handles, connected to the bags body throw precious brass, memory of exotic travel.

Skeleton and skin: essential tie to generate dynamics architectures.

This binomial, acquired from the natural world, is applied to works of very variegate nature, from the complex gothic structures to the lamps of Mariano Fortuny, from fans to ships keels. From the rigid element, that contains and deforms the human figure, come to life forms that expand in space: are plots of flexible structures covered of a membrane that defines the body shape.

Lizards, crabs and griffins made of brass leave the ancient Venetian doors and stop on these new surfaces, turning into special closures or unusual attachments for handles.
